Our Laymen’s Auxiliary schedules monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. We perform a variety of tasks around the church keeping it beautiful and ready for all services. We also carry out multiple tasks for our elderly and widowed members at there homes.
The purpose of our Laymen’s League is to develop men of Christian character, encourage and provide opportunities for men to apply their skills and talents, and to use Godly men as a witness and encouragement to others.
During the Christmas season we prepare and distribute fruit baskets to the nursing homes we minister to and the elderly and shut ins in our community.

The Women’s Auxiliary of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church believes in One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism. We understand and firmly believe that our eternal soul salvation rests in the birth, the death, the burial, and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The women of Mt. Carmel work together in unity and harmony, under the leadership of our Pastor Rev. Gene Armstrong, to fulfill the gospel of Jesus Christ in telling and compelling others to accept the free gift of salvation that Christ offers to everyone. We also are committed to our faith through Missions and in serving others in our community and in society who are economically, socially, and culturally disadvantaged.
Our continual prayer is that we can lead others to Christ through our service and faith in Him. Some of the ways in which we express our faith to others is through our monthly church food donation ministry to local food pantries, the “Pennies for Uganda” Women’s Mission Ministry, and various meetings, retreats, and missions throughout the Providence Missionary Baptist Association.
