At Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, we believe it is important to study God’s Word as well as pray for one another. This is why we hold a smaller service with a more individualized atmosphere as opposed to the more general Sunday worship service. This service is called Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. Prayer Meeting takes place the first half of the evening and this is when we sing a few songs, have prayer, and tell others what the Lord has done for us throughout the week. The second half of the evening is reserved for Bible Study. At this time, we look into God’s Word with our Pastor as our teacher for the evening.
